Norwich Model Aero Club

New Memberships available for 2024 using two really great Flying Sites

Lord Kitchener 2

Looking for New Members to join long Established BMFA Affiliated Club with 2 excellent sites and origins dating back to 1928.  We are a very friendly group of modellers of mixed abilities who fly from former RAF Coltishall with a tarmac runway as well as a grassed area plus an All Grass site a few miles away which has seven day a week access.

The Club benefits with BMFA registered Instructors and Examiners and has its own "Trainer Aircraft" with Buddy box facilities to assist with learning or ongoing skill development.

We are looking for beginners, intermediate or experienced modellers to join us.

Throughout the Spring, Summer and Autumn we have regular BBQ evenings as well as occasional Night Flying.

From September to April we are also associated with an active group of Indoor modellers, please see Gallery for some images.

Please use the "Contact Us" section to get in touch and come along to have a look at our Two Great Flying Sites.

The Norwich Model Aero Club (NMAC) was founded in 1928 and used RAF Horsham St Faith, now known as Norwich Airport. During WW2 members relocated and used various locations including Eaton Park. The Club moved in 1963 to its current flying facilities at former RAF Coltishall and also obtained the use of an all Grass site near Aylsham.
