Following on from the very popular BMFA "In the Air Tonight" - An introduction to Aerobatics, the NORWICH MODEL AERO CLUB hosted an event on Sunday 18th July at former RAF Coltishall. This event was open to any BMFA member holding at least a BMFA "A" achievement. The day graced us with clear blue skies, light winds and about 24 degrees all day.

The day started with a brief introduction, followed by a demonstration flight using the UKF3A Clubman schedule by one of the many mentors who were on hand throughtout the day.

Attendees were split into groups of 3 and each asigned a mentor who coached through the basics from triming the model for straight and level flight, postioning and how to perform each manouvre in turn.

During the afternoon, those who felt confident enough (which was most) entered into a Competition and scored by judges. 

At the end of the day, everyone went away all very happy and with new skills and abilities.
